HELLO !!! My name is Rick Nelson..
I have a background in Sound Engineering on a level to be considered more focused on theory, and test ing. As a guitar player - ie.. Blues / Rock / Mix , I have made many adjustments in the quiet recording environment to reach a goal of making Virtual Amp results to be as Great as that of a real Cabinet. Allthough there have been many challenges in doing this , I have found a few good things to add to the MIX...
CLEAN - SOUNDS (choice results) Using the Behringer VAMP-2
The trick is to boost the tone controls as much as possible to desired cobination of mix. 1. MIDRANGE and TREBLE combined will push harder toward the output causing a higher level of voltage toward the next input device. This helps increase amplitude by increasing the Voltage output.

2. Behringer MIC100 ... Simply an Awsome quiet little inline TUBE PREAMP. One of the most in-expensive Tube Preamp's you will find.
Set the MIC100 input Preamp "GAIN KNOB" where it is Higher that the output. Normally this would cause distortion, but with the design of this Pre-amp, that won't happen unless the :GAIN" is set too high. Keep "GAIN" around 70%, and use the "OUTPUT CONTROL" to desired level without clipping the overall signal Level of the MIC100
